I'm Eric—a product designer who recently was part of Typedream. Today I'll be sharing a little story about how I redesigned their landing page.

I joined Typedream in July 2022 and had the opportunity to redesign their website into something like this:

At the time, the website's purpose was to showcase Typedream's main value proposition: a no-code website builder that feels like Notion. We were focused on attracting Notion users and had gained a lot of traction from them.Therefore, the website included a lot of information referencing Notion, such as "Notion-like interface" and "Connect to Notion."

Typedream's initial goal was to attract Notion users by offering a no-code website builder with a Notion-like interface. They also drew inspiration from Framer and Webflow, but aimed for a clean and minimalist design.

However, they have since developed many products and shifted their focus to creators, necessitating a website refresh. The new design incorporates softer colors and Apple's memojis to create a more personable vibe.

The information is packaged into bento cards with five different colors introduced for each of their unique products. Copywriting is crucial for effectively conveying their brand message. While I tried to wave the magic wand that is ChatGPT, the words it sputtered out lacked a certain human touch. Thankfully we had a great team that crafted the perfect copy for the website.
